How are warranty claims handled?

Beixo believes in its products and will do its utmost to keep you satisfied. Should you still have a claim, you should report it to your dealer. After the discovery of any defect, you are obliged to stop using the bicycle in question immediately and, furthermore, to do everything possible to prevent (further) damage.

Does beixo also offer insurance?

Yes. Beixo works with ENRA for insurance.

ENRA's bicycle insurance policies can be taken out for three or five years for a one-off premium. You can choose between theft insurance or hull insurance (including theft). The hull insurance includes recourse legal expenses insurance, accident/occupant insurance and free breakdown assistance for the chosen term.

ENRA offers separate insurance for E-bikes. With the hull insurance (including theft) you also get free breakdown assistance for the chosen term. Optional warranty cover is also part of this insurance.

On this website take out bicycle insurance directly with ENRA.

Can I also collect a beixo?

If you choose to collect your beixo from a dealer or in De Bilt, we will inform you when the bike is ready to ride. Picking up your beixo is possible by appointment and during the opening hours of the relevant dealer or of beixo.

Will a beixo fit in my car?

Experience shows that a beixo folding bike fits in most cars, motorhomes and caravans.

Of course, this strongly depends on the model beixo and the type of car. We offer sufficient space and test models in De Bilt to fit and measure calmly. In fact, we have never had to disappoint anyone.

How does the guarantee work?

Beixo gives a two-year full warranty on the frame and the cardan shaft. On the other parts, we apply the standard manufacturer's warranty. This is one year.

For electric bikes bought after 1 January 2016, a two-year warranty period applies to the battery and other electric parts.

Only the first owner can claim warranty. Wear and moisture are excluded from the warranty. The warranty is void in case of incorrect mounting of accessories, dismantling of the cardan shaft and improper use such as stunt riding. In the first instance, we refer you to your own cycle shop. He will be able to solve 9 out of 10 problems.

Because beixo believes in the quality delivered, we operate a goodwill scheme based on depreciation after the standard warranty period.

A folding bike is a specific product with folding points in the frame. Beixo advises its customers to have the folding bike checked annually by a professional.

Shimano provides a two-year warranty for its items after purchase. It is important that proper maintenance has been performed though.

How does the right of withdrawal work?

Right of withdrawal
When purchasing standard products from our webshop online, as a consumer you always have the option of dissolving the agreement without giving reasons for at least fourteen days. This period starts the day after receipt of the product.
During this period, however, you must handle the product and its packaging with care. The product can only be unpacked or used to the extent necessary to assess whether you wish to keep the product. If you exercise your right of withdrawal, the product must be returned with all delivered accessories and - if reasonably possible - in its original state and packaging, in accordance with the reasonable and clear instructions provided by us. For a cancellation of an order, we always charge a €15.00 administration fee.

This does not apply to custom and special orders.

When purchasing from our showroom in De Bilt, the above does not apply. For cancelled orders, we always charge 15% over the total purchase amount.

What is the current delivery time?

Delivery time, if in stock, is approximately one week. If a product is unexpectedly out of stock, we will inform you within a short period of time. So you are always aware of the delivery time. It goes without saying: our products come with good service. Delivery is part of this. Beixo works together with Distri-Net for this. They will contact you about a suitable delivery date. At your home or office, the driver and mechanic takes the bicycle out of its packaging and performs the final actions to deliver the bike in tip-top condition. Beixo delivers throughout the Netherlands and Flanders.
