How are warranty claims handled?
Beixo believes in its products and will make every effort to keep you satisfied. If you do have a claim, you must report it to your dealer. After finding any defect, you are obliged to immediately stop using the bicycle in question and furthermore to do everything possible to prevent (further) damage.

Does beixo also offer insurance?
For sure.For insurance beixo works together with ENRA in The Netherlands. For other countries please check local insurance companies.
On this website you immediately take out bicycle insurance with ENRA.
Can I also pick up a beixo?
If you choose to collect your beixo from a dealer or from beixo in De Bilt, you will receive a message when the bike is ready to ride. Collecting your beixo is possible by appointment and during the opening hours of the relevant dealer or from beixo.
Does a beixo fit in my car?
Experience shows that a beixo folding bike fits most cars, campers and caravans.
Of course this depends strongly on the beixo model and the type of car. We offer sufficient space and test models in De Bilt to fit and measure quietly. Because actually we have never had to disappoint anyone.
How does the warranty work?
Beixo gives a full three-year guarantee on the frame and the cardan shaft. We use the standard manufacturer’s warranty on the other parts. This is one year.
For the electric bicycles purchased after January 1, 2016, a warranty period of two years applies to the battery and the other electrical components.
Only the first owner can claim warranty. Wear and moisture are not covered by the warranty. The guarantee expires in the event of incorrect installation of accessories, disassembly of the PTO shaft and improper use such as stunt driving. In the first instance we refer you to your own bicycle repair shop. This can solve 9 out of 10 problems.
How does the right of withdrawal work?

Although we do our utmost to deliver your order complete and undamaged, something can of course go wrong. In this case, please contact us.
Right of withdrawal
When purchasing products online, you as a consumer always have the option of terminate the contract without giving any reason, for at least fourteen days. This period starts on the day after receiving the product. During this period you must handle the product and the packaging with care. The product can only be unpacked or used to the extent necessary to decide whether you want to keep the product. If you make use of your right of withdrawal, the product must be returned with all accessories supplied and – if reasonably possible – in the original condition and packaging, in accordance with the reasonable and clear instructions provided by us. For the cancellation of an order we always charge € 15.00 administration fee.
The Right of Withdrawal does not count for custom built bikes or bikes where we made special changes on request of the customer.
Store purchase
The above does not apply to a purchase in our showroom in De Bilt. For canceled shop orders we always charge an amount of 15% of the total purchase amount.
Can I also collect my beixo?
If you choose to collect your beixo in De Bilt, you will receive a message from us when the bike is ready to ride. Collecting your beixo is possible by appointment and during the opening times of beixo. These are Monday to Thursday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., on Friday from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. and on Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
What is the delivery time?
Of course depends to where the bike must be shipped. For The Netherlands and Flanders we use the services of DistriNet. They come weekly in most areas. Distri-Net will contact you about an appropriate delivery date. At your home, work, camping site or port, the driver and technician also takes the bike out of the package and takes care of the final steps to offer the bike tip-top adjustment.
For shipments outside The Netherlands and Flanders we use parcel services like DPD, DB Schenker and Fedex. In most cases we can deliver within one week (5 working days), but this depends on the exact destination.
In the unlikely event that a product is not in stock, we will inform you within a short period of time. This way you are always aware of the period within which the product is delivered. It will be clear to you; our products are accompanied by good service. Delivery is a part of this. Beixo delivers throughout the Netherlands and Flanders.
Do I have to pay a disposal fee?
This only counts for the Netherlands.
To recycle as many batteries as possible, beixo works together with Stibat. To be able to properly recycle bicycle batteries, a national disposal contribution of € 14 was introduced on 1 January 2014. This is a fixed amount, regardless of the bicycle price or the battery type. This disposal contribution may not be included in the final price or offer and will therefore be settled separately.
You can return your defective battery to us or to every beixo dealer for free. If this is not possible, make sure you hand in the battery at a recycling station.
